    “Ahrimanic forces” are quite distinct, however, from the incarnation of Ahriman in the flesh. Being that we have entered the Third Millennium after Christ, I can only assume the incarnation of Ahriman has already occurred, or will occur anytime between now and next few hundred years. The year 1998 has been offered up in relation to the waves of Soratian impulses which rise up throughout the centuries, and also as an assistance to the Ahrimanic incarnation in our own era. I recall Lievegoed stating that the abyss of the demons would take place from AD 2020 through 2040.

I would like to make a correction to my comment above. I found the statement referred to by Bernard Lievegoed in his book entitled, THE BATTLE FOR THE SOUL (1993 ), and noticed my error. The full quote is the following:

“My estimate is that the nadir of this battle will fall around the years 2020 to 2040. Then the abyss of the demons will open. National Socialism and Bolshevism will pale in comparison with this. Millions of people will perish. But millions will also resist. And just as in all previous times, Manu will be there to help, as he was undoubtedly present at the great conflict in Mexico.” ( page 113 )

So the abyss of demons, if I understand him correctly, will open AFTER the period 2020-2040, NOT during that period….as I stated in my previous comment.
